Technical specifications: the Testa Di Moro PC1397B3/TM security door key ring with snap hook by Piquadro is made with full-grain Tuscan leather, tanned with vegetable tannins. This tanning process gives the key ring a non-homogeneous appearance, the result of craftsmanship that preserves the warmth and charm of natural leather. After tanning, the leather is immersed in tanks of water without the addition of chemicals and subsequently dried and stretched to encourage the release of its fibres. The experience of the master tanners guarantees the leather differences in color shades, grain and softness which make each piece of the Black Square collection unique and exclusive.

Product Tests:

• pH determination test on the skin: allows you to determine the actual pH of the skin, which must be between 3.5 and 4.5.
• Oxidation test: evaluates the propensity of metal surfaces to oxidize in contact with skin or water. No oxidation is permitted.
• Color fastness test to water and sweat: serves to determine the color fastness of the product in contact with water and sweat. The possible transfer of color on the fabrics used in clothing is checked.
• Veslic test on leather: useful for determining the resistance of each leather to wear, abrasion or color transfer. The leather sample is tested both dry and wet, under a removable weight of 1 kg.
• Leather resistance test to stains: the leather's reaction to stains is determined by pouring small drops of water on its surface and checking every 30 minutes and after 24 hours. No stain marks on the leather are permitted.
• Metal finish resistance test: evaluates the resistance of the finish of the metal accessory by simulating normal deterioration. A cut is made with a cutter and the behavior of the finish is checked.
• Salt spray resistance test: establishes the propensity of metal surfaces to oxidize or damage the finish due to salt spray (fog at 47°C - test duration: 24 hours). No oxidation is permitted.
• Leather finishing resistance test: checks the resistance of the leather finishing. A layer of adhesive tape is applied and, after tearing it, the integrity of the leather is checked.
