Technical specifications

The Black CA4827B3/N Ipad® Shoulder Bag by Piquadro are made with full-grain Tuscan leather tanned with vegetable tannins. This artisanal process, called washing, preserves the warmth and charm of natural leather, without covering. After tanning, the leather is immersed in large tanks of water without the use of chemicals. Subsequently, it is dried and stretched out to release its fibers. Thanks to the experience of the master tanners, each piece of the Black Square collection has unique and exclusive shades of colour, grain and softness.

pH determination test on the skin:

It allows you to determine the real pH of the skin, which must be between 3.5 and 4.5.

Handle resistance test:

Evaluate the strength and resistance of the handles, shoulder straps and shoulder straps. After loading the product, multiple stresses are performed on the handles/shoulder straps attached to a hook.

Oxidation test:

Checks the propensity of metal surfaces to oxidize due to contact with skin or water. No signs of oxidation are permitted.

Color resistance test to water and sweat:

It is used to determine the color fastness of the product to contact with water and sweat. It is checked whether the color transfers onto fabrics used in clothing.

Veslic test on skin:

Useful for determining the resistance of leather to wear, abrasion and color transfer. A leather sample is tested both dry and wet, under a removable weight of 1 kg.

Leather resistance test to stains:

Check the leather's reaction to stains by pouring small drops of water on its surface and checking every 30 minutes and after 24 hours. There should be no spots, marks or waves on the skin.

Metallic finish resistance test:

Evaluate the resistance of the finish of the metal accessory by simulating normal deterioration. A cut is made with a cutter to check the behavior of the finish.

Salt spray resistance test:

Establishes the propensity of metal surfaces to oxidize or damage the finish due to salt spray (fog at 47°C - test duration: 24 hours). No signs of oxidation are permitted.

Leather finishing resistance test:

Check the strength of the leather finish. A layer of adhesive tape is applied and after being torn, the integrity of the leather is checked.
