The coin, document and credit card pouches from the Black Square collection are made with fine full-grain Tuscan leather, tanned with vegetable tannins. This type of artisanal processing, called washing, gives the leather a non-homogeneous appearance that preserves the authenticity and charm of natural leather, without covering it. After the tanning process, the leather is immersed in large tanks of water without the use of chemicals. Subsequently, it is dried in drums and spread out, allowing its fibers to relax. This careful workmanship, carried out by skilled master tanners, gives the leather of the Black Square sachets differences in colour, grain and softness which make each piece unique and exclusive.

• pH determination test on the skin: allows you to check the pH of the skin, which must be between 3.5 and 4.5
• Oxidation test: evaluates the corrosion resistance of metal surfaces in contact with skin or water, without any form of oxidation allowed

• Leather resistance test to stains: evaluates the reaction of the leather to the application of small drops of water, checking for the presence of stains or marks after 30 minutes and after 24 hours. No stains of any kind are permitted.
• Metal finish resistance test: evaluates the resistance of the finish of the metal accessory by simulating normal deterioration, through a cut with a cutter and observation of the behavior of the finish.
• Salt spray resistance test: establishes the resistance of metal surfaces to oxidation or damage to the finish due to salt spray. No oxidation is permitted.
• Leather finish strength test: tests the strength of the leather finish by applying an adhesive tape and checking its integrity after tearing.
