Its non-homogeneous appearance is the result of an original artisanal process called washing, which preserves the authenticity and charm of natural leather, without being covered.
After tanning, expert craftsmen place the leather in large tanks of water, without the use of chemicals. Subsequently, the leather is dried and stretched in the drums to allow the release of its fibres. It is thanks to the skill and patience of the tanners that the leather acquires the different shades of color, grain and softness that make each piece of the Black Square collection unique and exclusive.
