Piquadro Cable Case Midnight Blue AC3870S107/BLU
Product Features:
Product Tests:
- Watch the video of the laboratory tests
- Break resistance test of all materials used: Allows you to determine the break resistance of the materials used in the products or the adhesion resistance between the fabric and its support. The samples, cut in both warp and weft, are placed between the clamps of a tensor.
- Color fastness rub test: Determines the amount of color that can transfer from a dry textile surface to another fabric through dry and wet rubbing.
- pH determination test on the skin: Determines the real pH value of the skin which must be between 3.5 and 4.5.
- Fabric resistance test to abrasion: Determines the resistance of the fabric to abrasion. The tissue samples are secured to a holder and subjected to scraping by a rotating platform. In order for the test to be considered passed, broken threads are not allowed in the fabric.
- Water resistance test: Measures the fabric's repellency to water. An instrument similar to a "watering can" is used which simulates the rain of water falling on the fabric. The penetration of water into the fabric is evaluated, i.e. how much of the fabric surface is wet (it must be less than 20% of the surface).
- Oxidation test: Establishes the propensity of metal surfaces to oxidize due to contact with skin or water. No oxidation is permitted.
- Color fastness test to water and sweat: Used to determine the color fastness of the product to contact with water and sweat. The possible transfer of color on the fabrics used in clothing is checked.
- Veslic test on leather: Useful to determine the resistance of each leather to wear, abrasion or color transfer. The leather sample is tested both dry and wet and under a removable weight of 1 kg.
- Leather resistance test to stains: Determine the leather's reaction to stains by pouring small drops of water on its surface and checking every 30 minutes and after 24 hours. No stains, marks or waves on the leather are permitted.
- Metal finish resistance test: Evaluates the resistance of the finish on the metal accessory by simulating normal deterioration. You make a cut with a cutter and see how the finish behaves.
- Salt spray resistance test: Establishes the propensity of metal surfaces to oxidize or damage the finish due to the salt spray effect (fog at 47°C - test duration: 24h). No oxidation is permitted.
- Leather finish resistance test: Tests the resistance of the leather finish. A layer of adhesive tape is applied on it and, after tearing it, the integrity of the leather is checked.
